We reveal what is happening in the very infrastructure that sustains businesses, lives, and communities, and ensure the integrity of networks, data, systems, and processes. Organizations rely on ExtraHop to provide visibility into the cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and network performance issues that evade their existing security and IT tools. With this insight, organizations can investigate smarter, stop threats faster, and keep operations running.

Our mission is fueled by a profound social and moral responsibility to be the best at what we do, ensuring a secure world where everyone can thrive. If this sounds like a place you’d like to spend the next chapter of your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Summary

ExtraHop is at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation, delivering Network Detection and Response (NDR) solutions that help organizations detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats in real time.

Join ExtraHop as a Senior Data Scientist and help advance the machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities that power our products. You will analyze large-scale network telemetry, develop and evaluate methods for identifying malicious behavior, and improve the accuracy and efficacy of ExtraHop’s threat detection capabilities.

This is an applied data science role for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous, high-impact problems using statistical analysis, experimentation, and machine learning. You will work closely with other data scientists, threat researchers, and software engineers to translate research into reliable product capabilities, and play a key role in contributing to the improvement of the RevealX platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale network telemetry to identify behavioral patterns, anomalies, and signals associated with malicious activity.
  • Design, develop, and refine machine learning and AI-based methods that support ExtraHop’s products.
  • Develop evaluation methods appropriate for cybersecurity data, including highly imbalanced datasets, incomplete labels, rare events, and changing attacker and network behavior.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, and error analysis using complex, high-volume datasets.
  • Research emerging machine learning and AI techniques, relevant cybersecurity developments, and assess their applicability to ExtraHop’s products.
  • Establish metrics and monitoring strategies for measuring model and detector performance over time.
  • Communicate findings, limitations, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical stakeholders and product leaders.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other data scientists through code reviews, design discussions, technical strategy, and contributions to the team’s analytical and engineering standards.
  • Document methodologies, experiments, model behavior, and evaluation results.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production-quality code.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in data science, including developing and evaluating machine learning models for real-world use cases, defining meaningful success metrics, and conducting rigorous offline and online evaluations.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, experimental design, machine learning, and model evaluation.
  • Experience working with incomplete, noisy, or highly imbalanced data; performing detailed error analysis; and identifying the causes of false positives and false negatives.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, experience with common data science and machine learning libraries, and the ability to write maintainable, tested, and reviewable code.
  • Experience collaborating with software engineers to integrate data science methods into production systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a track record of independently owning complex technical work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings, uncertainty, and tradeoffs to varied audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.

  • Experience applying data science or machine learning to cybersecurity, fraud detection, abuse detection, anomaly detection, or another adversarial domain.

  • Familiarity with Network Detection and Response, network protocols, threat detection, or incident investigation.

  • Experience with time-series analysis, anomaly detection, actuarial modeling, clustering, graph analytics, or unsupervised and semi-supervised learning.

  • Experience evaluating models in domains where positive examples are rare, labels are incomplete, and the underlying behavior changes over time.

  • Experience with generative AI, large language models, agentic systems, or other emerging AI techniques.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits

Research SVP Growth - Insights Strategy at FINN Partners Singapore

Lead research strategy and design across methodologies to generate client insights that drive business decisions and strategic recommendations.

Exec Posted 8 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

SVP Growth -Insights Strategy

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional SVP Growth-Insights Strategy to join our Growth team. This is one of the most senior strategic roles within FINN Partners and is suited to an experienced agency strategist with deep research expertise and the judgment to turn findings into clear, actionable strategy. Research is the foundation of this role, and it exists to drive decisions. This person will move fluidly across primary and secondary research, digital and social listening, and AI-enabled methods, using whichever combination best answers the question at hand, and will translate what they learn into insight that reframes how clients see their business, audience, market, or competition. From there, they will make clear strategic recommendations, working closely with specialists across the agency to ensure those recommendations are realistic and implementable. While the role sits within the Growth team and plays a critical part in winning new business, it extends beyond RFPs and pitches. This person will also provide strategic and research leadership on existing client accounts, including engagements they were not involved in winning.

The role requires intellectual curiosity, strong research capability, commercial judgment, and the confidence to make clear recommendations often with limited information and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Research & Insight

  • Lead the design and execution of research across methodologies choosing the right mix for the question, timeline, and budget at hand.
  • Shape research methodology around the business question and the strategic decisions the client needs to make.
  • Move quickly and resourcefully in new business contexts without compromising the credibility of the findings.
  • Develop surveys, questionnaires, sampling approaches, and analytical frameworks when primary research is warranted.
  • Personally conduct executive stakeholder interviews, customer interviews, and other in-depth qualitative research.
  • Analyze findings alongside market, audience, competitor, and performance data.
  • Translate findings into insight that drives a decision: what the evidence says, why it matters, and what the client or FINN should do next.
  • Work effectively with specialist researchers, analysts, and external vendors while maintaining strategic ownership of the engagement.
  • Develop segmentation models, personas, journeys, and messaging frameworks that can be used and defended in front of senior leadership.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of evolving industry landscapes, methodologies, and cultural trends so recommendations stay current.

Strategy & Growth

  • Lead the strategic development of new business opportunities and RFP responses, using research to identify the central business challenge and build the case for why FINN is the right partner.
  • Develop insight-led strategies that differentiate FINN’s proposals and create competitive advantage.
  • Translate research and strategy into practical recommendations that client and agency teams can implement.
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, PR, media, and account teams to ensure recommendations are realistic and well-supported.
  • Present strategic recommendations to prospective clients and senior FINN leadership.
  • Build measurement frameworks and KPIs aligned with client objectives.
  • Remain engaged following successful pitches to preserve continuity and support implementation.
  • Manage multiple opportunities and engagements simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

Client Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted research and strategy adviser to senior clients.
  • Provide strategic leadership on existing client accounts, including those where you were not involved in the original pitch.
  • Quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar businesses, industries, and operating environments.
  • Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and confidently, earning stakeholder buy-in through the credibility and rigor of the work rather than force of personality.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships through additional research or strategic consulting.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 15 years of strategic experience, with the majority gained in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Significant experience designing and leading research across a range of methodologies.
  • Strong judgment about data quality and rigor, balanced with the scrappiness to move fast when new business timelines demand it.
  • Strong knowledge of survey design, sampling, research methodology, analysis, and insight development.
  • Experience personally conducting executive, stakeholder, and customer interviews.
  • Proven track record leading strategy for complex pitches, RFPs, and new business opportunities.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into a clear strategic point of view.
  • Excellent strategic storytelling, presentation, and facilitation skills, grounded in command of the evidence and the ability to defend a recommendation under scrutiny.
  • A track record of earning the confidence of senior stakeholders through the quality and credibility of their work.
  • A strong point of view on where marketing, media, and culture are heading.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect research and strategy to measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, limited information, and evolving client requirements.

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Intellectually curious and insight driven.
  • Methodologically flexible and resourceful, with good instincts for when data is solid enough to act on.
  • Decisive, with the judgment to make a clear recommendation rather than present a list of options.
  • Commercially minded and focused on business outcomes.
  • Confident and credible in the room, earning trust through command of the work rather than salesmanship.
  • Structured and analytical, without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and incomplete information.
  • Proactive and self-directed.
  • Passionate about solving complex business and growth challenges.

Success in This Role

Success will be measured by the ability to:

  • Win new business through differentiated, research-backed strategic thinking.
  • Lead credible research that uncovers meaningful business and audience opportunities.
  • Translate research into decisions clients act on and business FINN wins.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Grow existing client relationships through valuable strategic consulting.
  • Create measurable business impact for FINN and its clients.

Anticipated Salary:

$150,000 - $200,000

Commensurate with experience and depending upon the workplace.

Please upload your resume and cover letter, along with your desired salary in $USD.

While we appreciate the interest of all applicants, we will only respond to those whose qualifications closely align with the role.

Research UX Researcher at Fundraise Up

Leads UX research projects that inform product strategy and builds scalable research practices within the design team.

Senior Remote Posted 10 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Highlights

  • Location: Cyprus Remote
  • Languages: Fluent in Russian and English

About Fundraise Up

We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9⁄5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

A Truly Global Product

We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.

We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets(each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.

The Team

We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.

Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset.

About the role

Fundraise Up is building high-trust donation and fundraising experiences that help nonprofits grow their impact. We are looking for a UX Researcher to strengthen how UX research informs product decisions across the company.

You will focus on two areas: leading complex, ambiguous, high-impact UX research that informs product strategy, and building a scalable UX Research practice within the Design team. Designers will run simpler studies independently, while you provide the process, coaching, quality guardrails, and support that make research a consistent habit.

You will be the dedicated UX Research expert within the Research Team, working alongside Product and Marketing Researchers who will support you across your projects. You will bring deep UX Research expertise while collaborating closely with the wider Product, Design, and Analytics teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as an active UX Research evangelist and change agent: proactively identify opportunities, coach and challenge colleagues, launch new initiatives.
  • Own and grow the UX Research practice: build a pragmatic research process for Design team, enable designers to run appropriate research independently, and create clear quality guardrails without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Lead high-impact research from the quarterly plan and run it end-to-end: intake brief → write methodology → conduct research → analyze → synthesize → present → push actions.
  • Choose the right method: interviews, usability tests, concept tests, surveys, desk research, competitive scans or others — based on uncertainty level, business goals, and timeline.
  • Run your work independently: access to tools/data, participant scheduling and confirmations, session logistics, note-taking, and documentation — no hand-holding.
  • Work closely with Product Analytics to connect quantitative and qualitative evidence. We work together and show a product manager a full picture of user behavior.
  • Experiment with new approaches and tools, from moderated and unmoderated testing to emerging AI-enabled methods such as synthetic users, where they can add real value.
  • Be the user’s best friend: ensure user needs and constraints are represented in product decisions – not just opinions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience running research end-to-end with high ownership.
  • Experience working across both B2C and B2B products and audiences.
  • Fluent English — all participants are English-speaking; you moderate and present in English.
  • Regularly collect input from Sales, CS, Support, Marketing, Analytics and turn it into testable research questions.
  • High research quality bar: correct research methods, structured methodology, predictable timelines, ethical practice.
  • Use recruiting platforms and handle logistics yourself: access, scheduling, confirmations, tool setup, etc.
  • Use AI tools to speed up ops and synthesis (guides, notes, tagging/themes, survey drafts, summaries) while keeping human judgment and methodological rigor where it matters.
  • Be the team’s source of new knowledge: run a “research radar” across internal learnings, market/competitor moves, and high-signal UX/product sources, then share regular updates so the team stays current and avoids blind spots.
  • At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work. We will not teach you how to use AI, but we will give you everything you need, like unlimited Claude and support from AI-experienced colleagues.
  • Bring exceptional empathy and care for people: our users are nonprofits and donors—people doing good in the world—so you approach participants with respect, sensitivity, and high ethical standards.

Strong plus

  • NN/g certifications.
  • Academic/scientific research background (graduate/PhD track).
  • PostHog / Tableau (or similar analytics tools).
  • Productboard (or other insights repository tools).
  • Mentoring/teaching (workshops, onboarding, sharing research craft).

At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool — not an experimental one

We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work and understand where it adds value and how it can improve the way you operate.
