Analyzes ROI of growth investments and works with go-to-market teams on deal structure, pricing, and budget planning for an AI-native banking platform.
Flex is building the AI-native private bank for business owners.
Weâre re-architecting the entire financial system for entrepreneursâfrom the first dollar a business earns to how that value compounds, moves, and is ultimately spent in real life. Banking, credit, payments, personal finance, and financial operationsârebuilt from the ground up as a single, intelligent system. Flex is the full financial home for ambitious owners.
Since launching publicly in September 2023, Flex has scaled from zero to nine-figure annualized revenue, with a clear path to profitability by late 2026. We move fast, ship relentlessly, and operate with extreme ownership.
Our customers are affluent business owners ($3â$200M in revenue)âthe backbone of the economy and one of the most underserved segments in finance. Theyâre stuck with outdated banks and fragmented tools. Weâre replacing all of it. The opportunity is massive: a ~$1T+ revenue market hiding in plain sight. Our ambition is to build a $100B+ company by delivering a product that is fundamentally betterânot incrementally improved.
Flex has raised $100M+ in equity and $300M+ in debt.
- Mission-critical problems: We build software that directly controls how money moves at scale.
- High bar, low ego: Small teams, exceptional people, real ownership.
- Speed over comfort: We prioritize execution, quality, clarity, and results.
- Enduring impact: What weâre building will define how a generation of owners runs their businesses.
Team & Locations
We hire exceptional people who want to build hard things and see their work matter immediately. Roles are available in: San Francisco, Miami, New York, and fully remote.
Flex Fuels Ambition.
This is a ground-floor seat on a small finance team, and itâs a genuinely embedded one. Most of your week will be spent with our go-to-market org â reporting on what our growth spend is actually returning, and acting as the finance counterpart on deal structure and pricing. The rest goes to the budget cycle, where youâll sit with department leads to build and defend their plans.
Weâre hiring for judgment and speed, not years served. If youâre two years out of a banking analyst program, or a strong new grad who models well and writes clearly, youâre the profile. Youâll report to our Director of FP&A and get real exposure to the exec team.
Be the finance partner to go-to-market
Own reporting on the ROI of our growth investments â by channel, campaign, and segment â so the team knows whatâs working and what to cut
Run Deal Desk: serve as the finance liaison on pricing, deal structure, and non-standard terms, and be the person go-to-market pulls in before a deal gets committed
Build and maintain the customer and growth economics that inform how we invest in acquisition
Sit in go-to-marketâs meetings, not just their inbox â translate their questions into analysis and hand back a recommendation instead of a spreadsheet
Run the budget cycle with the teams
Partner with department leads through quarterly budget and headcount planning â collect inputs, pressure-test them, and translate them into the plan
Track spend against budget, surface drift before it compounds, and flag what needs a decision
Build the analysis behind headcount, vendor, and resourcing calls â payback, cost-to-serve, build-vs-buy
Support forecasting and reporting
Support the monthly forecast cycle: pull and reconcile actuals, build the variance analysis, and draft the commentary that explains what moved and why
Maintain the schedules and drivers that feed the company operating model, working alongside the Director of FP&A
Help assemble the monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership, the board, and lenders
Automate anything you do twice
Replace recurring manual work with something durable â AI workflows, queries, dashboards, templates â so next month it takes minutes
Bring rigor to automated output: reconcile it, stress it, and know where it breaks before someone else finds out
0â2 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, Big 4, or a comparably analytical role â exceptional new grads welcome
Bachelorâs degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field
You build financial models from a blank sheet. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets is table stakes here, not a bullet point
Hands-on exposure to a real budgeting or forecasting cycle
AI is already the default in how you work, and you have the judgment to go with it: a reliable instinct for when a machine-generated answer is wrong, and the discipline to check before you forward it
You write clearly. You can compress a 40-tab model into three sentences a founder can act on
Extreme attention to detail, and comfort operating in ambiguity at speed â priorities here change faster than the plan does
Based in the US
SQL â you can pull your own data instead of filing a ticket
Python, or comparable scripting for analysis and automation
BI and analytics tooling (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Hex) and modern planning tools (Pigment, Cube, Aleph, NetSuite)
Fintech, banking, or lending background
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
$80,000 â $100,000 base, plus full benefits. Title and compensation are commensurate with experience, performance in the interview, and location.

Able started as an engineering and product hub building for a portfolio of early-stage startups. We built many relationships while developing products that were thoughtful, effective, and genuinely useful. But, since then, weâve grown⊠and so has our ambition.
Now, weâre entering our next chapter, defined by applied AI. AI is a powerful force in the end-to-end software development cycle, and weâre creating practices that allow us to deliver software fast and more effectively than traditional approaches, creating meaningful value for our partners. Today, our builder mindset is driving us to become an AI-native organization across every function. Weâre still evolving, and thatâs part of the opportunity. Sometimes we work with management teams to help their businesses grow faster or unlock value using technology. Other times we start or buy businesses outright. About the Role
Unbounce is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (AI First) to join our FP&A team. Youâll run our budgeting and forecasting cycles, prepare monthly reporting, support the accounting team through month-end close, and partner with teams across the business to answer financial questions.
This is an AI-native role: the outputs are familiar (an annual budget, a rolling forecast, a monthly reporting package, board metrics), but you will spend a meaningful share of your time building the systems that produce them rather than producing them by hand. Every employee at Unbounce has Claude, and our billing and accounting stack was rebuilt this year on Recurly and Rillet, so the data layer underneath you is new rather than inherited.
Concretely, when a recurring analysis takes four hours by hand, we expect your instinct to be to build the thing that does it in four minutes next month, and then to be the person who can tell whether its answer is right. The second half matters more than the first. Automation without judgment is worse than no automation, and this role owns both.
Weâre after someone dependable and detail-oriented who communicates clearly and whose first instinct on a repetitive task is to automate it. You donât need to have done every item on this list. If youâre strong in most areas and willing to learn the rest, weâd like to hear from you.

The compensation range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000 CAD which reflects the Proficient stage of our compensation band for this job level (P3). For United States based applicants, the compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 USD.
Progression into higher stages and job levels may occur over time based on demonstrated performance, mastery of role expectations and overall impact. For specialized or hard-to-fill roles, we may extend offers above the posted range if a candidate brings exceptional experience.
At Unbounce, we want every employee to be excited to bring their full, authentic self to work. When you bring your unique experiences, background, knowledge, perspective, and self-expression while embracing the same from others we learn from each other. We innovate and co-create an environment where team members can do the best work of their careers. Weâre bolder and more brilliant together.
Weâre dedicated to ensuring each team member feels a sense of belonging, feels safe, cared for, respected and valued for who they are, and trusts that their unique voice is heard, embraced, and meaningfully contributes to decision-making. Weâre committed to equitable employee experience, opportunity, pay and support for every employee regardless of gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, family or marital status, religion, socio-economic status, veteran status, national origin, age, sexual orientation, education, disability, or any other characteristic that makes you unique.
We have no tolerance for sexism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, or any other forms of hateful/harmful discrimination and weâre taking action against unequal pay in our community through leading the #PayUpforProgress movement.
If you require any accommodations or support during the recruitment process, please email us at careers@unbounce.com.
Weâre committed to keeping hiring personal. Every application is reviewed by a real person on our team, and we donât use AI to screen or filter candidates out.
We do use AI to help with assessing candidates and summarizing interview feedback. These tools support our team in working more efficiently and reducing bias. All final hiring decisions are made by people who bring their judgment and experience to determine who joins our team.
